Rider notes: This is a noisy ride along I-90 from North Bend to Cle Elum over the Snoqualmie Pass. The road noise was almost deafening. I should have picked up a weekday for this ride.
As far as the pass is concerned, this is a gentle climb occasionally reaching 7% to the pass. The pass barely hits 3000ft. From the pass the descent is sharp for the first few miles, and is very gradual for the rest of the ride.
When I started the ride, it was cloudy and foggy, and the sky did not open up until I came back home just now.
This is my fifth mountain pass in this state so far. The other four are the Chinook Pass, Cayuse Pass, Steven's Pass, and the Blewett Pass.

Started from a Safeway in Cle Elum. Rode along the main street which becomes 970. After about 12 miles, this road joins 97.
There are no serious grades, and the climb is gentle. I lost my average speed on the way back due to heavy head winds.
