The second day turned out to be much better. I started the ride 15 minutes late, directly from the hotel. My legs were not ready this morning, and I averaged 14 mph for the first 20 miles.
Later on, I picked up speed, and by mile 90, I brought the average upto 16.7mph. During the last 10 miles, the average fell, bringing the overall average to 16.4mph. Better than yesterday, and I also managed to pass a lot of riders.

There were more rollers today than yesterday, and as a result, I met another milestone today. I completed 100,000ft of vertical climb for the year 2008 so far.

See http://www.cyclogz.com/activity/716 for the first day.
