Most likely my last ride to Ward this year. The plan was to go up to Brainard Lake and then climb back up to James town from Left Hand Canyon. What was I thinking? May be I wasn't!

It was bloody hot. By the time I reached the top of Lee Hill Dr, I had dropped the idea of doing James Town on the way back. And, when I reached Ward, Brainard Lake was also shelved.
