My legs were not ready for this ride on the fourth day. My Bs were sour from the previous three days of riding.

The first climb of the day was the Cerro Summit. I have done several climbs like that, but that day was different. I could not get my legs to work. I was not in any pain, but my legs just felt empty. I thought of giving up in fact.

At the descent, I found a small store. I got a Red Bull which gave me some boost to do the next climb, and it got better from the second climb. I pushed hard, and managed a great pace upto Gunnison. Sanjay, I, and another rider pace-lined for over 20 miles, and I felt extremely good.

We took a break at a bakery there, where I had some good sugary caffeinated stuff.

I pushed harder from Gunnison to Crested Butte and passed a lot of riders. This section was a slow climb, but I managed a good average till the end. That section of the ride was very scenic.

The next day was rest day. Woooh!
