Fabulous ride! Amazingly beautiful! Again, it reminded me so much of Kerala, India.
The entire ride is a sequence of rolling hills. Some of them are quite steep.
Notes: The bridge that takes to Port Gamble is narrow and cyclists are asked to walk the bikes. It was quite intimidating to walk by the side of the highway where the traffic was going at 60mph.
Port Gamble is a very nice little, postcard like, town. There's a nice cafe there.
There are plenty of places along this route for refueling. We had our lunch in Port Townsend in an old fashioned diner -- Niftys?
Looking at the profile, even though the last hill appears to be "intimidating," it was perhaps one of the easiest. It is a gentle climb over four miles or so.
